Governance

We strongly believe that the Governance Framework in any organisation is of vital importance to the implementation and ultimately the success of any program. Our work usually involves a healthy combination of top-down and bottom-up emphasis.

Governance starts with Executive Board level processes and is sustained by a foundation of key processes: Strategy Management, Performance Management, Reporting, Risk & Opportunities Management, Quality Management, and Organisation Design.

We support organisations in implementing an integrated set of systems and processes to put these in place.

Balanced Scorecard (BSC)

Most organisations have a multitude of dashboards and scorecards already in place, however, they either continue to ‘tweak them incessantly because it doesn’t work for them’ or ‘simply ignore them because they don’t quite tell them what they need to know.’

Developed by Kaplan and Norton (1992), the Balanced Scorecard process is a proven methodology for translating Organisational vision into Strategy through the usage of Strategy Maps and the four balancing perspectives of Customer, Financial, Process, and Learning.

The Strategy Maps ensure that the right business drivers are selected and the Scorecard across the four perspectives ensures that the drivers for the business are not ‘lop sided’ but balanced across the business.

We offer an in-company program for Senior Managers on BSC where they learn about the process of translating their vision into strategy by deploying the scorecard process. We coach Senior and Middle Managers in the BSC process allowing them to drive and manage the business in a structured and integrated way without spending a disproportionate amount of time.
